HIV is God’s Curse Upon the Porn Industry

PORN FILM ACTRESS 'CAMERON BAY' LEARNED THIS WEEK THAT THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH.

PORN FILM ACTRESS ‘CAMERON BAY’ LEARNED THIS WEEK THAT THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH.

“Cameron Bay” got a shout-out this week from the Almighty. He reminded the 28-year-old porn actress that His Word does not return void. That, truly, “the wages of sin is death.”

Miss Bay confirmed this past Wednesday that she was tested for HIV and found positive. She said yesterday she’s “still coming to terms” with her test result.

Well, here are the terms: When you sell your body (and soul) to the devil, as the porn actress did, you have hell to pay. And not only in this life, cursed with a preventable, incurable disease, but also in the afterlife, where you have condemned yourself to eternal separation from God.

Miss Bay’s positive HIV test should be a warning to other young women caught up in the so-called “adult entertainment” industry: Get out before it’s too late. Seek help from a faith-based organization, like the Pink Cross Foundation..

Founded five years ago by Shelley Lubben, a former porn actress, a born-again Christian, Pink Cross stands in the gap by offering support to tortured souls trying to free themselves from the porn business.

Among other loving kindnesses, Pink Cross sends recovering “adult entertainers” care packages with gift cards for local grocery and department stores, as well as Bibles, Christian literature, praise and worship music, and other items to help them to get through what they’re going through.

Not surprisingly, Shelley has found herself under attack by Satan’s imps, who control the porn business, who exploit young women like Miss Bay until they are all used up.

Indeed, in 2011, Shelley was the subject of a hateful “documentary,” which was perversely titled “The Devil and Shelley Lubben,” and which was produced by porn industry hack Michael Whiteacre, who has disparaged the Pink Cross founder as “a diseased animal.”

Whiteacre is a particularly vocal member of the disingenuously-named Free Speech Foundation, the porn industry trade association, which announced this past Wednesday that adult film sets would shut down temporarily as the industry seeks to contain the fallout from Miss Bay’s positive HIV test.

The Free Speech Foundation’s duplicity is evidenced by its continued protest, rather than acceptance, of last week’s federal district court ruling upholding a recently-enacted Los Angeles law requiring that porn actors use condoms while performing their on screen sex acts.

The porn industry trade association asserts that porn actors have a constitutional right – no kidding – to forgo condoms, no matter the risk of having unprotected sex with so many partners (as the gay community discovered during the height of the AIDS crisis).

Clearly, the porn industry couldn’t care less about the health and well-being of its actresses and actors. That is, so long as their dangerous sex does not cause an HIV epidemic that leads to a moratorium on adult film production, costing porn companies their lucre.

I pray Cameron Bay contacts Pink Cross. Or that the faith-based group reaches out to the involuntarily-retired porn actress. Because Shelley Lubben has Good News to share with Miss Bay:

The porn actress need not live in shame for contracting HIV. She need not live in regret for the poor decisions she has made in her young life. She can enjoy the peace of God that passes all understanding.

All she has to do is give her life to Christ. For the Word promises there is “no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”

  1. Jp has proved time after time throughout all his posts that #1, he does his homework and always gives documented evidence. Also, he has proved his love of people always condemning the crime and offering hope and peace to the offender. I also have seen many try to tear him down. Many because they are just evil and I supposed some because they are just bored. More times than not they can not be identified by a profile and anonymously, launch their barbed attacks.

It is sort of like the rich liberal that keeps bringing the Christian to court hoping to wear out his money. With no evidence against him they drag him through expensive litigation trying to bankrupt him. Likewise some of these attackers, devoid of morals and common sense, repeatedly hurl lies and accusations hoping JP might tire of them and give up. I for one would trash any comment that is not accompanied by a profile. However, JP is much more patient than
    I!

  2. Clearly you didn’t do your research here. Mr. Whiteacre, whom I know, did not and does not refer to women in the industry as “diseased animals”. He speaks *against* Ms. Lubben who *does* refer to these women as “diseased animals”.

You also have not done your research if you believe that Ms. Lubben is running a faith-based organization. There are many women who have been ensnared by her who leave more damaged and hurt than before they met her. More than a few have said that they damaged them and any scraps of faith that they once had by her misrepresentation of Jesus and His saving grace. She is a fraud and a swindler who uses Jesus and the cover of ‘ministry’ to fund her own lifestyle, no different than many of the televangelist frauds and charlatans that we have seen through the years.

Your own disdain for the women caught in the porn industry is apparent in your writing. As a Christian, I am very weary of those such as yourself and Ms. Lubben who misrepresent a loving Jesus full of grace to those who need Him most, and turn them away from Him.

    • I have done my research. My post reads as follows:

Indeed, in 2011, Shelley was the subject of a hateful “documentary,” which was perversely titled “The Devil and Shelley Lubben,” and which was produced by porn industry hack Michael Whiteacre, who has disparaged the Pink Cross founder as “a diseased animal.”

That paragraph is confirmed by an article that appeared in LA Weekly June 14, 2012.

That you defend a man like Michael Whiteacre, who clearly is doing the work of the evil one – as evidenced by the obscene photos he has posted on his twitter account – reveals that you are a falsehearted Christian.

And, contrary to your assertion, I have no disdain for women caught up in porn industry. I encourage them that they need not live in regret for the poor decisions they made in their lives.

All they need do is give their life to Christ. For the Gospel promises there is “no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”

  3. I am in a Facebook group whose objective is to stop porn culture. A friend of mine who is a Christian, a soldier who served in Afghanistan named Ed Drain, posted this in response to this very article that was discussed in our group. I am sharing his words with the rest of you here. Take it for what it’s worth:

“It’s a total misogynistic rip-off of what the words are supposed to mean. The Bible verse that was used as a cudgel to beat women down here talks about spiritual death. In this case it is more talking about the spiritual death of the people that participated in the *murder* of women, who, when denied good choices, got sucked into this evil soul crushing machine called porn. The creators and users are to blame for this woman’s death, please don’t bring God into it. If you must think about God, consider what a just God would think about women dying because they could not get a job, or could not escape pornstitution. Then reject utterly the cold unfeeling woman-hating words of this “author”. “~ Ed Drain

    • Thank you for your comment, Jacqueline. Apparently, your freind Ed did not read the last three paragraphs of this post, which was written with love toward the poor young woman in question:

I pray Cameron Bay contacts Pink Cross. Or that the faith-based group reaches out to the involuntarily-retired porn actress. Because Shelley Lubben has Good News to share with Miss Bay:

The porn actress need not live in shame for contracting HIV. She need not live in regret for the poor decisions she has made in her young life. She can enjoy the peace of God that passes all understanding.

All she has to do is give her life to Christ. For the Word promises there is “no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”

  4. Wow I thought Jesus said love one another as I have loved you. Wasn’t it Jesus who washed the feet of the lepers and walked with prostitutes and thieves. You are throwing stones. And judging others. Think about what God wants you to do. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t want you to JUDGE….shame on you…

    • Christine, did you read the last three paragraphs of this post, which was written with love toward the poor young woman in question:

I pray Cameron Bay contacts Pink Cross. Or that the faith-based group reaches out to the involuntarily-retired porn actress. Because Shelley Lubben has Good News to share with Miss Bay:

The porn actress need not live in shame for contracting HIV. She need not live in regret for the poor decisions she has made in her young life. She can enjoy the peace of God that passes all understanding.

All she has to do is give her life to Christ. For the Word promises there is “no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”

      • Oh please! The wages of sin is death? First the verse applies to spiritual death. I’m pretty sure that is not what you meant at all — you meant physical death — which is why you pointed out that she has HIV. Saying something like that is callous and cruel. I am certainly against the wreckage that porn creates — including men trading their worldly wealth that rightfully belongs to God and their families to serve Human Traffickers, child pornographers, and international criminal organizations. But DO NOT condemn women who have been so victimized by this evil industry. Doing so PUSHES people away from the Church and you will bear that responsibility. I know quite a few women who were trafficked as teen-agers, who were just trying to stay alive. I know that as adults they are STILL unable to get housing, employment, even food-stamps because of how the law is structured to punish them for what men did to them. You are just the latest putting nails in their coffins. Jesus took on the sins of the whole world. How much pain did you add with your insensitive words?

      • “Cameron Bay,” remains very much alive, so I obviously was not referring to her physical death. I stand by my declaration:

When you sell your body (and soul) to the devil, as the porn actress did, you have hell to pay. And not only in this life, cursed with a preventable, incurable disease, but also in the afterlife, where you have condemned yourself to eternal separation from God.

Also, in your indignation that I would say something you think “callous and cruel,” you ignore the conclusion of my post, written not in a spirit of condemnation, as you impugn, but compassion toward Miss “Bay”:

The porn actress need not live in shame for contracting HIV. She need not live in regret for the poor decisions she has made in her young life. She can enjoy the peace of God that passes all understanding.

All she has to do is give her life to Christ. For the Word promises there is “no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”

  5. You are a single minded person. I don’t like porn. But stop making up bull. The devil made you lie and wright this crap. Boo. What about all the priests and people who rape and stuff. Don’t you think God would punish them with HIV before a bunch of people having fun. And also side note: God created people in his image. GAY PEOPLE. In his image.

  6. I thought that HIV was gods punishment for homosexuals? Which is it? are folks that get HIV through blood transfusions and by geing born to a hiv mother being punished also?

    • Sure, 1 percent of the HIV-positive contracted the dread disease through no fault of their own. But the 99 percent majority – including homosexuals and porn actors – contracted HIV through promiscuous sex. I think that amounts to a curse.

  7. I am sure that an article like yours will provoke a great response. Especially because it is so spot on.Scripture itself tells us about the results of sin,one being eternal damnation. Romans says concerning homosexuality:Rom 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

The “recompence” could be many things. Nowadays, it’s mostly aids. Yes, as science agreeing with God tells us that for each action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

God also uses the best methods to bring a sinner to Him. For one it could be losing a loved one. For another it could be a trip to the E.R. God loves us all and will do what He will to bring us to Him, so that we may see Him and know Him.

I thank God for the penalties of God in my life, knocking me down so that I might look up and see Him which I did and am forever grateful.
Those who would deny that God is active in these things might also disagree that a penalty of smoking is cancer or a broken bone is the result of a daring motorcycle trick. Everything has consequences. All are a direct result of choices we have made.
The thing that should really amaze us is the extreme patience that God has displayed upon all of us.

  8. I learned something when I was overseas on Guam back in the mid to late 1980’s. I was in the Air Force and I attended a church off the base. A very godly woman once told me something I have never forgotten.

    A + B = C.

    Attitude + Behavior = Consequence

I don’t know if I go so far to say that a particular disease is God’s judgment upon the porn industry, or anyone in particular for that matter.

What I would say is that the effects of sin is the consequence of their attitudes against a holy and just God, just as sin is in the lives of each and every one of us.

Sin is all around us. It’s the consequence of Adam and Eve’s disobedience in the Garden of Eden. It permeates our very existence. The entire world feels the effects of it. Even if this young lady comes to grip with the magnitude of what she has done and how her attitude and behavior have resulted in her acquiring this dreadful disease, she will still have to deal with the consequences.

I hope my point has not been lost on anyone. We all have to be mindful of that formula and never forget it’s lesson. Bad attitude and/or bad behavior will result in bad consequences, but good attitude AND behavior will result in good consequences.

But until we get to glory, let’s not say that a particular disease is “God’s judgment” upon the porn industry until we hear it from God Almighty Himself.
